Turnaround time

Turnaround time is the gap held between one hire ending and the next beginning, so a vehicle can be cleaned, checked and refuelled.

It is the difference between a vehicle being back and a vehicle being ready. Set it against the vehicle class rather than the individual car, and availability should hold it automatically. A booking taken in that gap is the most common way a customer ends up waiting at a counter.
