Off-road period
Also called vor, vehicle off road
An off-road period is a stretch of time a vehicle cannot be hired, recorded against the vehicle so it disappears from availability.
It covers everything that is not a service job: a long loan to a member of staff, a gap in insurance, a vehicle awaiting sale. Keeping it separate from maintenance matters because the reason is different and the reporting should be too.
