Ledger
A ledger is the running record of what has been charged against a booking and what has been paid, showing the balance outstanding.
It matters more than an invoice because a rental changes: extensions, damage, fuel and refunds all land after the original quote. Without a ledger per booking, "what do they owe" becomes an act of reconstruction.
