Double booking

A double booking is two confirmed reservations against the same vehicle for overlapping dates, one of which cannot be honoured.

It is nearly always the ordinary booking rather than the complicated one, taken while a planner was out of date. The fix is structural: availability calculated from the bookings that exist, so the second one is refused as it is made rather than discovered later.
