Document expiry
Document expiry is the date an insurance certificate, registration or inspection stops being valid, after which the vehicle should not be hired.
The risk is not the expiry but the discovery: a certificate that lapsed last Tuesday on a car that went out on Monday. A reminder window ahead of each date is the whole of the fix.
